The Cecilia couldn't be more beautiful and welcoming - and user friendly! It's been the perfect location for my exploration of Portland. It truly is an amazing city - and you can just tell that the people here love living here. Life is good!

What a delightful surprise we had seeing Joan's "Cecilia" for the first time. An oasis in the city, beautifully furnished with attention to every detail. Bob and I walked to the Hawthorne District, had a great dinner at the Bridgeport Ale House, and found a few buttons at the bead store on the walk back. It rained a bit as we arrived "home" and we sat on the porch and enjoyed the sounds - the train (we both were reminded of our childhoods in Pennsylvania) and the rain. Now, on to British Columbia! Thanks to Joan and Erin for great hospitality and a lovely stopover in Portland.
